Faarknn Buutty Vs Francas
There was a lot of pre game hype before this match which saw undefeated ladders leaders Francas take on third placed Faarknn who had won 3 in a row coming into the match. The Faarknn home crowd got right in behind the team early and Faarknn never looked back taking the game by 48 points and also taking top stop off Rick Francis boys. Star draftee Mick Molloy showed class emassing 58 touches and kicking 3 goals. After this solid display, Faarknn have firmed as favorites for the flag.

Pines Vs Barossa
In a game between two sides who were set the mege pre season but backed out at the last minute to go it alone, Pines met Barossa who all expected to take the game with relative ease. But the Pines unit wouldn't have any of that giving the boys from the valley a 39 point defeat which pleased home fans and keeps them in the top 4 and looking good for an eventual finals birth. Craig Black was great in the air taking 12 grabs to go with his 38 touches in a great game in the middle of the ground.

Manchester United Vs The Wolves
Playing to a packed home crowd at Old Trafford, Manchester United hosted the in-form Wolves. The reddevils showed they have one of the best line ups in the league winning by 8 points. It is good to see their financial problems behind them as they srive for the finals. David Beckham was outstanding with 43 touches out of the centre and Scott Bamford showed glimpses of brilliance for The Wolves.

San Fransisco Vs Mainland
After earlier in the week writing off his team, Coach Simon Pilley is now happy with his side after accounting for the dismal San Fransisco by 13 points. San Fransisco continue to dissapoint after being tagged as grand final favorites prior to the season's start. Brad Bluggen won the ball out of the ruck well kicking 3 goals to go with 39 touches in a magnificent game. This game kept Mainland in thei this season, but will still have to improve to give the top 5 teams a real contest.

Lucifer Vs Dromana
Facing the hapless Dromana at home, Lucifer taught them a football lesson enialating them by 164 points. Dromana were shaken earlier in the week by coach Damien Christmas announcing that he was no longer going to continue as coach and would stand down as soon as a replacement was found because "They are shit", and I think the players looked really down because of this abuse from their coach and lost in every position on the ground. On the other hand Lucifer are looking better each week and are earing respect around the league because they play the game so hard. They were lead fromk the front by centreman Joe Ross who collected 56 touches and slotted through 6 majors.
